Beth from Corky Crafts was so excited after her entry in the recent Lone Star Showcase that she created this stunning "Handmade In TX" treasury. Great title by the way Beth! I posted the image of this amazing treasury here, however I would encourage you to click on the photo, this will take you to the live treasury where you can click on each image and browse through each shop.
I guarantee you won't be disappointed in how you've spent your time wandering through the shops of these talented artists & crafters.
Lot's to do today so I'm off for now, but just in case you're curious, I have some stats for you. The second Lone Star Showcase was another success. But first I would like to thank all that participated, remember this is free promoting for all who joined. So consider this when creating that next awesome design you have brewing in your mind. Get those photos nice and crisp and those titles full of keywords and those descriptions full of great nuggets of information about your product. You took a lot of time to make it, now take a little more to entice someone too come into your shop, look at it and buy it.
So how well did the last link party go?
25% increase in participation
40% increase in page views
77% of traffic comes from referring sites
What does all this mean to you? More people seeing your shops and designs, and the goal is to increase that each week. So when you tell others about it on your facebook pages, profiles, tweets, blogs, google +1, blah, blah...
the more traffic.
The Handmade In TX face book fan page alone has increased in "likes" 140% in the month of August. Overtime this will continue to grow and just mean more free promotion for your shops. So use the fan page and the twitter page to promote your shops, designs, sales, give.a.ways, blogs, websites.
I'm off to make the next YouTube video :) Featuring all those who linked up. I'll have it up later today.
