Lone Star Showcase #1- Our Very First Link Party!!!

So here we our the very first Handmade In Texas Link Party!
Over time... themes will be added, but for the first one I thought we would just keep it simple.

Unlike traditional link parties where you would link up a blog post that compliments the theme of the link party, this will be different.

This link party is for Texas artists, crafters & photographers, that sell their creations online. This would include independent websites, Etsy shops, Zibbet shops, ArtFire shops and any other online selling site that I'm not familiar with. If you only sell your handmade products on your blog then you will choose the product to feature and use the URL that links to that particular product.

Link your shop, website, blog or select a specific design you wish to link up in this party.  Just remember, I has to be handmade and located in Texas :)
So get busy and link away!  Then if you not already a follower, follow this blog, then click on some links and check out another artist's shop or site.  Others would love to read what you have to say, so leave a comment.  Now all that's left to do is go blab about it to all of your friends!

Be sure to grab a button and add to your blog or website.

~Guidelines for the Lone Star Showcase~

1.) Your link needs to be from your shop and the listings have to be handmade

2.) If you're linking from a blog, post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog

3.) If you're linking from a shop, copy and paste the URL from your shop or a specific listing page

4.) This party will close Sunday at midnight CST.  Next week's Lone Star Showcase will feature a collection of designs selected by me

5.) Handmade (handcrafted) items created by Texas artists and crafters only. Individual items for sale in your shop or on your website/blog may be linked up. This is encouraged.  Linkups or comments, advertising your giveaway or promoting your own link party etc. will be removed.

6.) Please link back this party with a (button or text) if you have the means to, if not, please promote on Facebook, Twitter or within your teams/groups. If you have a blog or a website where you place Showcase button with link, please do so.  Better yet, write up a quick blog post about this link party so others can know about it. Buttons can be found under the menu tab BUTTONS.  For your convenience a button code has been provided in the current post.

7.) By linking up to this link party, you're all warm and fuzzy with being highlighted on Handmade In Texas Facebook fan page, added to any future linkups and for possible future artist features on Handmade In Texas without additional permission required.

Well what are ya wait'n on?  Get after it!

  2. hi Cindi. my link is #13, it's ok if you delete it. I made a mistake and linked in from my blog. I don't have an online shop. But I still really love this idea! xo, Diane

  3. OH, I missed it. I was out of town and couldn't get online. Will watch for the next one. Have a question for you about your Tall Texas Tale. Could I repost it on my blog for my readers? I would give credit for getting it from you. But I've told several friends and family members about it and followers, and would love to post it on my blog, too. If not, that's ok. Thanks, Kay
